Structure of ArisCAT System
Detailed Information About Program Modules
Customers
This module records the customer’s contact information. It also gives information about contact persons, the firm’s address, realized turnover, and the customer’s balance of payment. The customer’s currency preference may also be noted in this module as well as any negotiated discounts or excess charges that have already been agreed upon.
Suppliers
Contains the list of suppliers, their contact information, realized turnover, and other necessary information.
Offers / Orders
This module efficiently calculates price estimates. Once the potential customer confirms the estimate, the information is transferred to the order, and then the production module. This module also allows the creation of invoices and other documentations.
Production
This module calculates a production plan based on time and material. This plan takes into consideration the number of orders that have already been processed; those that have recently been submitted; the current store situation; incoming orders from suppliers; and the amount of material needed for future production. This module also creates daily production plans and alerts the team if there is any reason to recalculate the long-term plan given daily report.
Installation
Contains a list of all individuals employed by the installation company, all agreed upon price parameters, realized turnover, and other important information.
Documents
All necessary documents such as receipts, requisition cards, issued and accepted invoices are saved in this module. Information can be easily transferred from one document to another. It is also possible to create an invoice from the order form based on the customer’s specifications.
Stock
Stock cards are defined for either material or finished products. Stock cards can be organized into groups and subgroups. These cards contain information such as the selling price, the purchase price and the incurred costs. Purchasing information can also be added to the stock cards.
Configuration
This module allows the user to define the products, edit reports, choose which actions should be available within specific modules and other necessary settings for the system.
Users
Controls a user's access rights and controls his or her reading and writing rights within the modules.
Statistics
Provides business sales reports, production reports, and financial analysis.
Payments
This module records all payments that have been made up to date, whether in cash or by online transfer, and matches the invoices with the payments. This module is equipped with anti-fraud mechanisms.
Internet Portal
This is an information portal which allows customers to make online inquiries, place an order, and gives detailed information about the completed orders. The customer may also access the invoices and statistics regarding the balance of payments and turnover information.
